The Seaming Chuck is attached to the Upper Turret Seaming Spindle & Gear providing the drive to spin the can & cover. Seaming Chucks are manufactured to closely fit the cover Countersink depth and inside radius. Seaming Chucks must fit properly in order to grip the cover securely enough enabling the Seaming Chuck to spin the can and cover through the Seaming Cycle. A minimum of six sample ends or covers are usually required to determine Seaming Chuck Dimensions. The inclusion of end/cover drawings providing these Dimensions are normally requested with samples. |
